"This is my first and only Rolex. It is worn 24/7 and is as rugged as I had hoped it would be.
I had it modified with Submariner hands to allow me to read it more easily. I love the look and it is very unique."
"My second Rolex is a Pepsi GMT Master II (D Serial) 16710. I have the Coke bezel too but have no plans to ever put it on the watch (I prefer the classic Pepsi look). Initially I had a tough time deciding between the Sea Dweller and GMT but after buying the SD I still couldn't get the GMT out of my mind so I decided to make the purchase. The watch arrived on my birthday this year. Needless to say, its arrival enhanced an already great day."
"My first Rolex is a Sea Dweller (Z serial) 16600. I bought my SD as a gift to myself following my time at my first law firm. This is without a doubt my favorite watch and if I was forced to choose one watch to keep the Sea Dweller would be that watch. I wear it on a gray, bond or dark green nato strap 90% of the time and on the bracelet the other 10%. "
"This was the original, literary James Bond watch, as described (and worn personally) by Ian Fleming himself. My own Rolex 1016 Explorer is believed to have been produced just hours before Mr. Fleming’s, and, with its dial still intact, represents as close as we’re likely to get to what Agent 007 saw on his wrist in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service."
"I bought the LV for my 30th Birthday. I wanted a nice watch wich I knew would last me a lifetime and then some. There was never any doubt, it had to be a Rolex and the LV just had me awestruck. Had to special order it and I didn`t even get to try one on for size before it arrived. I was so excited when I got the call, it arrived the day before my birthday, excellent timing! Alot of watches has come and gone since, but this one will never leave."
"Stainless Steel - Silver Dial - bought new in 1986. This was my first Rolex, I bought it from the AD in my home town, the same one I stood outside with my Dad at the age of 8 years old when he told me "See that watch in the fish tank, the gold one hanging in the bubble stream? That watch is keeping perfect time, it will never leak and it will never stop as long as the bubbles move it just that little bit, if you ever have enough money son, come back here and buy one, these are the best watches in the world"....it took me anouther 15 years to buy one but I got there and that was the start..."
"Stainless Steel - Black Dial - bought new in 1988. This was bought from the same AD, I had the money and thought it would be great to have two colour schemes, this watch out of my collection has seen the most wrist time for sure, my eldest son has his claim in for this one, he gets to wear it sometimes but he's only 17 so it's only once in a while, the big stupid grin he gets on his face while he is wearing it is classic Rolex appreciation. This watch has a had a new dial and handset as it was involved (with me wearing it) in a bad cycling accident."
"18ct - Gold Diamond Dial - bought in 2002. We went as a family to try living and working in Doha, Qatar in the middle east, it was a nightmare and we didn't stay long. As a present to ourselves my wife and I decided to buy the Gold Rolex watches we had wanted for so long, the DayDate was my selection, it is almost the same as the one in the fish tank at our local AD's all those years ago so it means a lot to me."
